On Wednesday, September 13, Greenwich Catholic School welcomed over 125 guests, including parents, faculty, board members, and alumni, for the annual State of the School Address, which followed the Home School Association’s Volunteer Fair.
GCS Principal, Patrice Kopas, opened the evening by welcoming everyone with a prayer and reflection on the School’s mission statement. Mrs. Kopas also discussed curricular initiatives for the current school year and introduced the newly appointed Team Leaders who will serve as academic directors across the grade levels.
Mario Gaztambide, P’23, ’24, Vice Chair of the Advisory Board and Chair of Strategic Planning, offered the audience a financial overview and updates on enrollment and safety initiatives. In addition, he discussed the progress to date in working toward fulfilling the goals in GCS’ strategic plan, Innovate & Inspire: 2021.
